Part-1 AFFILIATE
TRAINING! course.
Part-2 WEBSITE BUILDING! training course.
DOING IT YOURSELF WEBSITE DESIGN
First of all you're going to need software to help you easily create
WebPages in which I recommend you download FrontPage express. Its called a
WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) website development program because
you can build WebPages with out any knowledge of HTML what so ever. - FrontPage
eXpress, complete with form creation wizards!
It can do everything you need it to do in designing a professional looking
website. All you need is professional templates, images and scripts to add
to your WebPages. This is what I used to learn how to develop all my
WebPages. It took a little work threw trial and error but for the most
part it really wasn't as hard as some people think or say it is.
You can then get professional business templates by searching the internet
for free or paid services that provide website templates.
As for images depending on what you sale or provide, you'll have to search
the internet to find images that fit your needs, but here's a few FREE
resources that will help you design a professional looking logo for your
website - http://www.logocreator.com
and - http://www.cooltext.com
And here's one for FREE banners - http://www.animationonline.com
You may also want to add some FREE JavaScript's to make your website look
better than the average website with cool effects of all kinds. - http://www.javascriptsource.com
It really is this simple!
DESIGNING A PROFESSIONAL LOOKING WEBSITE
I know a lot of people who try to save money by not getting a hosting
company for their website and prefer to use free website hosting to sale
products or services. While you can make money doing it this way you take
the risk of not being taken seriously by potential prospects, by not
adding that extra professional look to your website. Also one big downfall
of using free services to host your website is they don't have cgi-bins.
This is crucial in building a community of friends or automatically
following up on prospects without paying monthly for someone else to do it
for you.
Another huge downfall is submitting free sites to search engines benefits
the provider way more than it will ever benefit you, and that's only if
they except free sites, because most don't.
For a modest $93 a year you can get a host with 10 cgi-scripts already pre
installed that you can use without being a programmer, from - http://www.anhosts.com
this is also my hosting company and I can say the service they provide is
awesome.
This way you won't have to pay someone else monthly down the road for a
more professional system of lead capture and community building.
For instance tracking advertising campaigns to your website is crucial to
knowing what ads work and the best places to advertise. By downloading and
setting up the ultimate ad tracker tool below to your website you can
organize all your tracking campaigns and you won't have to pay anyone a
monthly fee to handle this for you. Click the image below to download the
ad tracker script a 49.95 value to track all your ad campaigns totally
free. (You can thank me later) Click image to download!

Other than that, cgi is very hard to learn, if you don't have the time to
learn it, you can pay $50 onetime for someone to set it up for you in
which I recommend - http://www.webfresh.com
if you need custom scripts installed on your website. This still beats
paying a monthly fee down the road hands down.
Take a look at other available cgi-scripts - http://www.cgiresources.com
some are free and some you may need to pay for.
UPLOADING YOUR PAGES AND IMAGES TO THE INTERNET
The next thing you'll need to learn is how to upload your website pages
and images to your host server. For this you'll need to download a ftp
program to assist you, I recommend you download WS-FTP for free from here:
- WS-FTP. It comes
with instructions and is pretty easy to learn.
PROPERLY SETTING UP AND UTILIZING A FREE WEBSITE
O.K., if you insist on doing it the hard way there are free providers that
let you choose to place a banner on your page, instead of a pop-up. If a
visitor of your new
entrance page is first presented with a pop-up, the visitor will know that
it is a free page. You have immediately lost any confidence in your
company!
But if the visitor sees a Banner at the bottom of your page, nothing is
wrong with that. The visitor eventually takes that as a good indicator.
You have signed up with a banner exchange program.
The free hosting provider that I can recommend is - http://www.virtualave.net
Your domain will be http://yourname.virtualave.net, where yourname is any
name chosen by you. There is no charge for signing up and using a
sub-domain.
You can even add a pro name to your free website by getting a Hassle-free
domain name registration for only $15 per year from DirectNIC! - http://www.directnic.com.
TIP: #1 Always place banners at the bottom of your free page.
TIP: #2 Give away FREE stuff.
TRACKING YOUR FREE WEBSITE FOR FREE.
I recommend the free service from LinkCounter - http://www.linkcounter.com
Go there and set up a FREE account. You can track your clicks to your
affiliate website URLs and banners. You paste your real links (the web
addresses you want people to actually go to) into their system and they
give you a new link that you would publish in your ads. How easy can it
get?
You can set up as many as you like and keep adding to them, as you wish.
You only need one account to track multiple links, ads, websites, offers,
affiliate schemes, whatever.
Every day, they send you a report by email that tells you how many clicks
you got on each of the different links you set up.
Link Title: Ezine
ad 1
Link URL: http://www.yourfreesite.com<br>
Link: http://www.linkcounter.com/go.php?linkid=(your
id number)
Date:Clicks 2002-12-11
Give it the title you want to see so that you can identify it. The Link
URL: is
your free site web address and is the one you publish, which is the one
that people
apparently clicked on that day.
If you use different link counter links, for the same URL, but with
different ads or for the same ads in different ezines and give each one or
campaign a title that you'll remember, you'll find out which ones work
best so you know where to advertise again or if you should maybe tweak
your ads for better results.
Summary of what you should've learned:
1. You can build WebPages easily with FrontPage express.
2. You can add images and banners to your webpage for free.
3. You can jazz up your website with JavaScript and cgi-scripts
4. If you prefer you can even get a free website and add a pro name to it.
P.S. Feel free to email me if you would like any additional tips or
have any questions concerning webpage building.
Thanks once again for your time and may God bless you and your entire
family.
